Celebrating the outstanding efforts of volunteers helping older people
Age Scotland has over 1100 member groups ranging in various activities and services to help older people in many communities across Scotland. They have the unenviable task of singling out outstanding groups and individuals who are particularly worthy of recognition.
It's my job to travel the country and meet these groups in their local communities to make a film about each of the winners which is shown at the award ceremony during the Age Scotland national conference.
The drive and determination of these winners is a reflection of all the efforts made by Age Scotland and their member groups to ensure everyone in Scotland can love later life.
